Milltek and AmD's do Audi Driver International and Time Attack Assen in two days!

This coming weekend, Milltek and AmD Essex are taking part in Audi Driver International at Castle Combe race circuit on the Saturday (11th October). We will then be making the long trip overnight to Assen in Holland for the Autovisie Time Attack event on Sunday (12th October).

Racing driver and owner of AmD Technik Essex - one of Milltek's top UK distributors - Shaun Hollamby will be driving the Audi R8 with the intention of winning the Pro Street class and Phil Millington, owner of Milltek will be driving the Audi TT-S in the Semi-Pro Street category.

The concept of the event is that competitors get 25 minutes to practice and then do a single timed lap of the racing circuit. The time they set will determine whether they go through to the next round. During each round, only 1 lap is allowed and eventually it is down to the two fastest cars in each class to decide the winner.

There are four classes in total: Semi Pro Street, Pro Street, Pro Non Street, and Small Factory.

Milltek distributor Xtreme Tuning will also be entering the event with their SEAT Leon Supercopa in the Pro Non Street class. Xtreme Tuning will be displaying a number of products, including Milltek exhausts from their double Pit Garage area and Milltek staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
